Here comes the Bride

This movie really hits the spot.  I almost died, cried and fell off my chair because I can’t stop laughing!  Hope you guys enjoyed it too!

'Mukha ba akong baliw?'

How to train your Dragon

This is definitely one of my favorite movies. I am not a movie buff and I barely go to the movie houses but I so love and adore this movie. It made me laugh the way ‘UP’ made me cry. I enjoyed watching it on my own so I know you’ll enjoy watching it with the kids and kids at heart!

I Love You Phillip Morris

I love this movie. I watched this with Oppa and this movie is really good. I love the intensity of being in love. It is a wonderful, comic, surreal yet tragic love story.

The Box

I watched this movie with Oppa around 2 or 3 weeks ago and I totally didn’t get it. We didn’t get it. It was weird and the story was just plain boring. Until I talked to Oppa a few days after and talked about the movie reviews. Some say it was good and some say they don’t know what it was about. When I tried remembering what the movie is about I just realized I learned something from it. Actually, I learned a lot.

GREED
A million dollars just to push a button? Isn’t it funny that sometimes we get paid doing the oddest thing? Most of us don’t even ask about it and just starts doing it. We can never get enough, as we are humans, we strive hard and harder to get what we want. As we go up higher in the ladder our needs, wants and expectations gets higher too. For some they can control themselves, but for the most of us, we just can’t. So try to examine and carefully study your history, your priorities and what you really need. Money or any beautiful material thing is hard to come by, so when you get offered this PLUS that for absolutely nothing relevant, think about it and ask!

KNOWING ONESELF
It is important to know who you are and to learn new things about yourself everyday. Why get experimented on by people whom you don’t know and not by yourself. Try one new thing everyday and you might surprise yourself with what you can do and the endless possibilities you have inside you.

FAMILY
They are the most important people in my life, maybe yours too. We talk, consult, argue, share, laugh and cry with them. Family can be anyone who you value most not necessarily the people you live with. You just have to follow your heart to know who they are and how you can treasure each and every moment with them. Your family will always be there for you no matter what and you should be too for them. Deciding with your family no matter how tough the decision is will somehow help you move on. It may be really disappointing and hurtful but you have to think and feel deeper. Think, feel, hurt and love with your family. At the end of the day, they are the only ones who’s going to hold you hand.

COMMUNICATION
They never fail to talk in this movie. I like the feel of being able to communicate with your loved ones. No matter how small or big or important or silly things can be, it is important to talk to each other. To consult and to decide as one. To celebrate together or take the blame together instead of pointing fingers. Communicate even the littlest things and everything will be better, clearer.

Mr. Magorium’s wonder Emporium

Mr. Edward Magorium: 37 seconds.
Molly Mahoney: Great. Well done. Now we wait.
Mr. Edward Magorium: No. We breathe. We pulse. We regenerate. Our hearts beat. Our minds create. Our souls ingest. 37 seconds, well used, is a lifetime.

Henry Weston: You know, some people… send flowers, or cards, or… give people hugs. I… make sure their paper work’s all in order. I thought I’d try something different.

**************************

Mr. Edward Magorium: Your life is an occasion. Rise to it.

**************************

Mr. Edward Magorium: Name the Fibonacci series from its eleventh to its sixteenth.
Henry Weston: Umm… 89, 144, 233, 377, 610?
Mr. Edward Magorium: Perfect. Number four, do we really need it?
Henry Weston: If you like squares – you do.
Mr. Edward Magorium: Oh, I like squares. Good. Now, the hot dog, the hot dog/bun ratio, why for the love of mustard are there never enough buns?
Henry Weston: Extra hot dogs…
Mr. Edward Magorium: Yes, but why?
Henry Weston: In case you drop a couple.
Mr. Edward Magorium: What kind of insufferable fool drops a hot dog?
Henry Weston: Anything can happen, sir.
Mr. Edward Magorium: Anything can happen. How absolutely true. You’re exactly the mutant I’m looking for! You’re hired.
